Here is the notice that was sent to all members of the Class of 1959 for Senior Activities.
It's not entirely clear some 40 years later... for example, what is meant by "inexpensive clothes"?
Also, with teenagers today spending hundreds of dollars on their senior prom, it is interesting to see that a ticket to the HHS Senior Prom was only $3.00!

Tuesday, June 9 – Senior Banquet
The Senior-Faculty Banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. The place will be announced later. The cost of the dinner is $2.00, and tickets will be sold in advance by members of the senior class beginning May 19. Inexpensive afternoon or sport clothes are suggested.

Complimentary tickets will be provided for the parents of the graduates. Additional tickets will be available at the high school bookstore on Thursday, May 21. Tickets are given out to the capacity of the Civic Center. If you do not plan to use your five tickets, please give them to someone who wants them or return them to the bookstore. Announcements which you purchased are not good for admission.

Because of the difficulty in distribution of commencement flowers at the Civic Center, we ask that flowers be delivered to the homes. NO FLOWERS SHOULD BE DELIVERED TO THE CIVIC CENTER FOR EITHER BACCALAUREATE OR COMMENCEMENT.

CAPS AND GOWNS SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THE HIGH SCHOOL BOOKSTORE ANY TIME FRIDAY OR MONDAY BEFORE NOON. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL MEAN A FORFEIT OF THE REFUND OF $2.50.
