Dunes Collection You may now access older issues of the Hammond High School Dunes Yearbook! Recently, we have collected old  issues of Hammond High School  Dunes yearbooks.  This archive has great historical value to the Class of '59 (and others) since there are photos of our parents, our relatives, our teachers when they were students at HHS. Dunes issues include: 1921, 1923, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934,  1938, 1940, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960 and 1961.  This collection includes pictures of our civic leaders, business men and women, teachers and administrators, and many others.  Our former graduates tended to stay in the Hammond community, married their classmates, went to college and returned to join the HHS staff.

Thanks to Jo Hightower,  daughter of our class advisor, more yearbooks have been added to our collection from Mr. Hightower's office. Years 1945, 1946, 1947, 1949, 1950, and 1973. Volume 1963 was acquired from another estate. At some point, these books will be donated to the Hammond Public Library but right now, the collection continues to grow.  If your parents attended HHS and you would like a screened photo of them, please email me at: hazel@hhs59.com and let me know their name and year graduated and I will send you their picture at no charge. If you have old copies of The Dunes that you would like to contribute to our collection, please let us know. We will pay for shipping and give acknowledgement on-line.

	HHS Class of 1959 50 Year Reunion Announcement! HHS ' 59 First Call for the 50th Class Reunion      Early discussion for setting up a planning meeting for the 50th Class Reunion for Hammond (Indiana) High School Class of 1959 is beginning.     If you are interested in participating in the formation of a Reunion Committee, please email us at: hhs59@yahoo.com and we will forward your name to the organizing group.
