Edison School This dedication of some shrubbery by local notables including (left to right)... Mr. Leek, our custodian and "go-to" guy; principal Wayne Cunningham, (another kind of "go-to" guy...), some other guy, a little kid pointing to his favorite shrub... Edison School Looking northwest... When they selected trees for the site, more than 70 different trees from various countries were planted on the Edison property. Each Fall, students only had to walk around their playground to find colorful, unique and different leaves for their science projects. |

Edison School in Winter You can almost feel the wet melting snow and smell the wet woolen mittens from the kids coming in from recess. After frolicking in the snow, throwing snowballs and making snow angels, you were ready to finish the day in the warmth of Edison School. The large crest over the main entryway was called "The Snowflake"...
