Temple Theatre - "The Old Soak"
Program Book
December 31, 1924

Her name was Ethel Downing and she was scheduled to graduate from HHS Class of 1925. She was a senior and had a date with "Jack W" on this special night. She kept the ticket stub which is attached to the front of the program. Ethel saved the program from the Temple Theatre from a play that had started two days earlier. It was New Year's Eve 1925 and a great way to bring in the New Year. "The Old Soak" starred Ann Nielsen and was directed by Harry Minturn. Check the ad on the back of the program for new homes being offered for sale... Price complete: $5,500. $500 down and $25 a month.
